The white-yellow flowers of the Plumeria obtusa-tree have an intensive sweet flavour. Photographed in Sri Lanka.
Die weiß-gelben Blüten des Frangipani-Baumes verströmen einen intensiven, süßlichen und sehr angenehmen Duft. Aufgenommen in Sri Lanka. Die Blüte liegt auf einem Marmor-Tisch, daher die, wie ich finde, wunderschönen Lichtreflektionen. Ein bisschen spiegeln sich die Bäume im Tisch, das gibt dem Hintergrund noch einen grünlichen Schimmer. Ach, ja: Den Tisch habe ich -extra für das Foto- vorher mit Sagrotan gereinigt, vielleicht hat das den Glanz erhöht.

You can see that my dogs just don't like their pictures taken. I just planted my new "Baby Plumeria's" and I thought I get a pic of them all. They also need haircuts badly. Soon.

Daeng Sayem- Thai Red-- a Classic! This Thai imported beauty is one of the prettiest red plumerias I have ever seen. It produces gorgeous, deep red flowers with golden sprinkles in the center of the petals. The blooms appear in very large inflorescences. It also has a nice, yet unusual sweet scent that smells exactly like those rootbeer barrel candies we ate as kids!
