I have been asked more than once how I achieved this effect. Okay.
I started with an ordinary shot of a petunia from my backyard.
I severely cropped the photo to just maybe 5/8 of the shot.
I put it on Paint Shop Pro 7 and messed with it.
As far as the messing with it goes, as best I recall, I enhanced the color severely.
And on Artistic Effects I used Contours and . . . maybe a few other effects I unfortunately don't remember. I may have used Neon.

Ahh the cliche flower pictures, cant help but find beauty in such things. Fucked up world around us, gotta appreciate the few things in life that dont suck and are beautiful! Ive taken a simliar picture before, but this one I planted and love this kind of flower, so it makes it special somehow?

Changing back to a non-Disney picture again. I took this and processed this while I was killing the three and half hours that my daughter kept me waiting while she was getting ready to go to Disneyland. Don't ask me what she was doing. When I ask I get the eye roll.

Photo wise this was shot with my 100mm macro lens with me on knees and elbows trying to get down to about four inches (100mm) off the ground..

Beautiful Yellow Flowers

These yellow flowers grew in bunches. I loved their bright happy faces. They just made my day, seeing them all waving in the gentle breeze on this warm Sunday afternoon.
