Iris

A unique iris that I saw in Pudacuo.
This was the only one that I saw during the entire time that I was in the national park. When I first saw it, I expected to see more later on; however, I did not see any more, so I had to run back on the trail to get pictures of it. Running at ~4000m elevation is pretty tiring...but it was worth it (as you can see)!!
Can anyone identify the species? Perhaps if I'm the first one to have gotten a picture of it (doubtful), I can name it!

My neighbor is doing a major re-build on a house, but he has kept a lovely garden going in the midst of it. We appreciate the effort taken with both.
