The largest flower

This pretty flower opens gradually as the son comes out and the closes as the night falls. In the evening its internal reflectors beam light towards the sky.
The building of the Facultad de Derecho (seen in following pictures) can be seen on the background.

I was walking along the Garden Path in the Conservatory when I spotted two huge drifts of this flower and no tag. So, I took a picture in hopes that someone could help me figure it out.
Flowers by the A46 - In the Hedge

A couple of weeks back, the A46 was closed, and we had to take a diversion around to get Sam to work. We knew it must have been pretty bad when we found out that the road hadn't opened again until after six that evening. Turned out a tanker had crashed with a car, killing the driver of the car. We stopped at the spot by chance tonight to get pictures of the sunset, and the hedge has been filled with flowers. He is obviously very much missed.
