A very old looking photo and not in good shape. I have no idea who these men are, or where they are. Nice flower garden of some sort. Looks Edwardian, mainly because of their collars.

Hello , can anyone please tell me what this flower / plant is called. I just love this plant. I been trying to make copys of it by cutting a piece off and planting it in a pot and I put white powder on the stem to help growth , we had a small frost last night and I am so afraid I am going to lose this before I get to know what it is, I dont know if it will comeback next year . I am in CT so its getting cold out. Thankxs to anyone that can tell me..... I uploaded 2 pictures of this, I have to say its a beautiful flower.. Have a great and happy day to everyone =)
