Window Sill Survivors - 5 of 5

The coldest winter of my lifetime claimed its casualties on my window sill - after a night when the temperature dropped way below -40 C I discovered my Phalaenopsis orchids crunchy and frosted :((
Two out of four died instantly, another is still on the brink of death. The smallest one of the four, a plain white one, it was the last remaining in its crate in IKEA when I bought it, all wrinkled and crummy. Looks are deceptive, and it turned out to be the toughest of all. It is regenerating actively and even sprouted several beautiful white flowers.

Took some pictures of the brave plant.
