Para el dia de la madre de este año en un centro comercial le regalaron a mi suegra un tulipán. En la noche llegamos a la casa y ella lo metió en una bolsa con hielo. La flor estaba un tanto doblada de modo que decidí tomarle una foto, por lo que puse la cámara debajo de la misma con el lente para arriba. La tomé con flash, y no me imaginé que saldría esta bonita foto del tulipan.

For Mother's Day this year in a shopping mall to my mother-in-law gave him a tulip. In the evening we arrived at the house and she got into a bag with ice. The flower was a bit bent so I decided to take a photo, so I put the camera below it with the lens up. I took it with flash, and I figured that would not this nice photo of the tulip.

Friday: Alyssum and Banana patch

This is possibly one of my laziest uploads. In truth, I wanted to label the "love-lies-bleeding" plant which I have grown from seed and then completely forgot that I planted it there! I hope it turns into a perennial as it is very pretty indeed!

We also harvested a bunch of bananas and chopped its mother plant down a couple of days ago. The bananas produced are HUGE. I'll upload a picture of those tomorrow.

Oh, that's the cat proving once again that he's a house-cat. Running around (going berserk, rather) completely knocks him out and he turns into a panting ball of fluff who still defies being caught.

My daughter gave me this bouquet last night. The bright colors are definitely her! She arranged them in a vase she made for me in Middle School. I love the flowers. I took them outside for a few minutes to snap the picture but it was so cold and windy I didn't take many. I'm going to try again tomorrow to capture all the colors.
