I made this for the K-Fun Birthday Challenge, but I did not choose it as one of the three to submit. I like the colors, and I especially like the flower in the middle and the ones stretched around the edges.

Again, I used Silicon Mirror to create the tessellated image from which I extracted the tile with Irfanview that I ran through Repligator.

The green should spread out a bit at the base of the bloom. I didn't think of this until I was finished. I also didn't use any reference pictures... I was feeling lazy in that regard. Besides, a rose is simpler than a giraffe, right?

They say you get what you pay for, but when it comes to flowers, I think you get more and less at the same time. These flowers are not exactly what we saw in the picture, and yet they are some of my mom's favorite colors. Plus, I was on the phone with my mom when the delivery lady got there and was thrilled to join her in the moment. I once thought flowers were a waste because they're not eternal, but no living thing is a waste when it can bring life and love to someone - even if only for a few days.
