Early Mothers Day Flower

Did you ever pick your mom little flowers like this? When we were out and about taking pictures on the Friday before Mother's Day, my Holly picked this for me and said "Happy early Mother's Day mommy!" I took the digital from Wade, put the flower on the dash board, and shot this macros of it. These little weed flowers don't last long after they are picked and of course, by the time we got home, it was shriveled up. Holly was bummed, but I reminded her of this pic so I can keep it forever.

Day seventy three of my project 365. I thought I'd get today's done early, since I have to travel back to Portsmouth this evening :/ The journey takes from seven 'til midnight :O NOT GOOD! This is a picture of the mother's day flowers I got my mum today :)

The flowers themselves are from Flowers Going Green. A local florists that I did a website for :)

I had to use my brother's Nikon D5000 camera, since my compact ran out of power, and I forgot to bring the charger with me down to Devon :/ So clever! :P

I know...picture of a flower on Mother's Day, but I couldn't think of anything else. I trucked up to the Rockliffe Park Rockeries to take this. Trying off camera flash too.
